Wayne Orr
President / Owner
Wayne Orr grew up in the family business and has done everything from organizing his father’s truck when he was a small boy to his current role as President/Owner. Wayne graduated high school in 1987 and enrolled at FIU. After a couple of years at FIU, Wayne decided he wanted to focus his efforts on the family business. In 1991, Wayne graduated from Plumbers Local Union 519 Apprenticeship School.
While attending apprenticeship school and post graduation, Wayne worked through the ranks as a plumber’s helper, journeyman plumber, project manager, estimator, vice-president and currently the President which has helped him understand every aspect of the business. His knowledge, skill, dedication and integrity sets him apart from the rest. It’s hard to find someone as hardworking and trustworthy as Wayne.
In the mid 1990’s, Wayne was instrumental at Douglas Orr Plumbing, Inc. expanding the company into the hi-rise and hotel plumbing market. In 2002, Douglas Orr retired and Wayne took over all the day to day operations. His philosophy and values mirror what this company was founded on.
As a corporate officer to this day, Wayne takes pride in continuing to operate and maintain a company that exemplifies leadership and employs a work force that has expertise levels of the plumbing trade. Wayne’s philosophy is to “Provide an excellent product, using highly skilled plumbers at a fair price while treating the customer with professionalism, courtesy and honesty”.
